Community Guidelines
Bingr is where you talk about an episode with people who have already seen it. These are the rules that keep it that way, and what we do when someone breaks them.
What doesn't belong here
- Spoils something ahead
- Harassment or bullying
- Hate speech
- Spam or advertising
- Sexual content
- Violence or threats
The first one is ours. Every room on Bingr is anchored to an episode, and everyone in it has watched up to that point — writing about what comes next breaks the one promise the product makes. It is treated as seriously as the rest of this list.
Anything else that does not fit these words can still be reported, with “Something else”. This list is what we ask you to choose from, not the limit of what we look at.
Reporting
Every message carries a menu, and so does every profile page. Reporting takes one tap and a reason — you never have to write anything. Profiles are reported for their photo: it is the only thing a profile publishes.
Reports are not public and are not shown to the person you report. Nobody is told who reported them.
Blocking
Blocking works in both directions: neither of you sees the other's messages in any room, and any follow between you is broken. You can block from a message or from someone's profile, and undo it from your own profile at any time.
What we do, and how fast
Every report is reviewed within 24 hours, and content we find objectionable is removed.
Reports are handled oldest first, by people, not by an automatic classifier. A message that breaks these rules is removed. Repeat offences suspend the account from writing in public — 24 hours, then 7 days, then 30, then permanently. The scale is fixed in advance, so a decision can be explained rather than argued.
A profile photo we remove cannot be replaced: the account keeps its initials from then on. Nothing else changes — the person can still watch, post, follow and read. Losing a photo should not cost anyone their voice.
Your account
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Your library, history, ratings and messages are erased for good — there is no grace period. Reports you filed stay with moderation: they are not yours to withdraw.
